Day 1 - Starting the Diet

So, I had planned on fully working out yesterday but by the time I got home I had to thaw out dinner, Clean up, Do the dishes, and when all was said and done I was dead.... Actually, I was dead from the time that I woke up.

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago my friend Allison and Lacey were talking about this Jullian Michaels 30 Day Shred and how amazing it is working for them. Now both girls are Already Skinny and tone.. But I have totally seen a difference in Allison since that is the one person I see on a weekly basis. She looks Amazing.  So I decided that I would try it out with some other assistance.. 1. Blogging about it 2. Taking Vitamin Supplements, and 3.  Watching what I eat.

So the Vitamin's that I am taking are a Thyroid Support and Diet Slim by Gaia Herbs. I was recommend this by a friend of Mine in Kentucky who has the same issue as I have. I work out, eat light, Don't eat much junk food, Stay away from Breads for the most part, but I just don't loose the weight. I've been to two nutritionist and both of them have said that because of the amount of working out I have muscle underneath all of this but some of it has turned into flab.  I've kept a secret food Journal and showed the doctors what I eat.. even if I take like a lil piece of chocolate just to get the edge off.  They recommended that I take some sort of Meds and I'm not a person that likes to put unnatural things in my body (aka: I don't like to use drugs) Maybe that is my old Straight Edge roots coming out( I no longer claim the edge). but pharmisuticals are just, I dunno unknown and just the thought of chemicals in my body blech. So I shot for all naturals and see what it can do for me.

Day 1.

morning: I had a Earl Grey Tea w/ 2 splenda's and 210 cal cinnamon thing.

Lunch: 1/2 Peanut butter Sandwich on Wheat Bread.

Dinner: London Broil, Whole Lotta Green Beans, and a 1/2 cup of rice

I drank 2 bottles of water and drank about 2 glass's of Green Tea

Dessert: half a cup of Rainbow Sherbet

Remember: I work at a hardware store. I'm a manager and I run all over the store.. I mean ALL OVER THE STORE! and my Store manager, I think he thinks I'm his personal assistant some days!

So I attempted to attend a Yankee's Game this season. I had bought my friend Allison a Ticket to one of the biggest games of the season.. When the Yanks take on the Redsox! I was totally stoked when I got these for her and totally excited. But When I woke up this morning I was totally bummed, it was raining....  And not just any rain a Steady, we are not gunna give up and ruin any plans you have for the next couple of days, Rain.. The game was suppose to start at 7:05pm..  By 8:30 we had enough of waiting around.. and as we were leaving they started to remove the tarp... Thats okay. I got a ride home from the Bronx and I didn't have to feel soggy for the rest of the evening! That's a Plus! Thanks H!

Twilight!

So with all the talk about the TWILIGHT series. I decided to purchase the books and watch the movie..

Book Review - After doing some research on the writer I could understand how and why she wrote the book the way that she did. Of Mormon background I understood the innocents she wanted to portray with Bella through out the books. I'll admit it when I say I really liked the whole series. It kept me wanting to read and read and read just to find out what happend in the next chapter. The only thing I could complain about is that Meyer writes almost a little to simple using non complex words but for tween's and teen's alike it honestly wasn't so bad. I'd recommend it for anyone to read especially the younger generation. I think it teaches a few things. but that is just me.

Twilight - Bella moves to Forks a small town in Washington state. Being the new girl in school of course she gets hit on by all the guys. But she isn't interested in  them she is interested in the one person who is nearly impossible to get their attention.  As she walks into Biology Class he gets a wiff of her scent that is so strong he, meaning Edward, can't contain himself. Edward basically trys to push her away as he know's it isn't right that they be together but soon finds out it is hard to keep away. Bella adventally figures him out announcing she knows what Edward is but it wouldn't stop her from being with him.  After a baseball game a Set of 3 trackers come in to cause trouble for the Cullen family when James catches the scent of Bella causing him to track her and attempt to kill her.  Now was he sucessful.. I guess you are going to have to read the book to find out.

Now for the Movie -  The movie was good.. and I can TOTALLY tell why the fan's are going gaga over this movie.. Not for nothing I always liked Robert Pattinson I think he will be come a great actor if he keeps out with other rolls outside of this series if he chooses. I've seen alot of his BBC stuff that he has done and just watched 'How To Be' and I honestly can't wait for 'Little Ashes' He's brilliant, Handsome, Smart, and adorably shy.  Now back to the movie.. It was good but I can't wait to see what Chris does with New Moon because he has more of a budget then the first movie did. I was  a little bummed that they didn't go with more of the books perspective. It seemed to that the only one who had lines was Bella and I know the first book is in her perspective but you didn't really get to hear Bella and Edward really react to each other it was blocked out by music. I dunno I would have like to have seen more conversation between the two.  I loved the baseball scene especially when Edward and Emmitt collide in mid air and when they come down Edward Flicks off Emmit. That totally had me cracking up. Now for some reason the killing scene's in the movie were a lil odd. I dunno I didn't dig them to much. and you know what I want more of Dr. Cullen (Peter Facinelli) now that my friends is a good piece of work... His family lives down the road from me which I find sorta funny. who knows maybe one day I will run into him at the Stop and shop.

Everyon Has A Look Alike!

So today I'm working and the guy comes up to me and asks me to help him with some things he is trying to buy......As I turned to him I noticed he looked oddly familar but at the same time didnt.... He basically looked like my friend Pete (235Kid).. He was rockabilly, Pete's the same way.. This guy was all tattoo'd up and Pete's the same way... The only difference with this guy is he had a European accent and sorta the loose Elvis pomp going.... Here he stands in front of me he is wearing a tight black shirt that reads, "The Only Metal is Norweigian Metal!" I said in my head, ' Hell freakin ya! This guy rules!' But it gets better, I then proceed to ask this guy where he is from, 'NORWAY!' Yeah you heard me right.... Then all I could think of is my friend ,Mahrinah and her slight obsession with things from Norway! and then my friend allison who thinks guys with blond hair that work our should be named sven and are from sweden or Norway! hahaha

what a day!

In need of Funds for a new Camera

Mood, There is no moods. I haven't lifted my camera since the wedding. I've felt like shit ever since I got that phone call stating that they were disappointed in my pictures of the wedding.  I explained to them even before I handed over that disk that I wasn't happy with that pictures but a select few due to the fact that my auto focus didn't want to work. The funny thing was that They knew I had never shot a wedding before. I guess they are called growing pains. But those growing pains have led me to not want to even pick up my camera as of late. Even for shows and That is what I am good at. I thought about shooting tomorrow but the weather is suppose to be bad and I got a lot to do.

Hope and Change! We can make a difference.

Or better yet we have MADE a difference. I must say I never thought in all my years we would have an African American president. I am proud of my fellow American's because of this we have shown the world that we accept no matter who or what you are.  In the past week we have had the most amazing things happen.. A pilot that saved 155 people by landing an Airbus in the Hudson River. We celebrated  Martin Luther Kings Birthday yesterday. and today years later we made his dream a reality. I am proud, I have hope, I have Change! Congrats...
